A Good Egg Picked My Name

I won something pretty today. Pat, the Good Egg referenced above, from A Little of This and a Little of Pat, notified me that I won her giveaway. It is four fat quarters of spring themed fabric, and I love it. I'll post when I receive it, or you can see it now by clicking on the title of this post. It will bring you to Pat's blog. While you're there, scroll down till you see the tulip block. I spied that pattern while doing the bunny hop and made a note to go back. I'm happy I won.

This is what I worked on today. I'm following a pattern from a Fons and Porter book, Basic Guide to Rotary Cut Quilts. It's going to be a table runner. The pieces aren't sewn together, but I have everything cut. Tomorrow I'll sew, and I'm looking forward to it. Sometimes I just want to be at my sewing machine. I am listening to the eighth book in the Stephanie Plum series, and I'm beginning to notice that I get alot of crafting done while these books are on. Thankfully, Janet Evanovich is a prolific writer, and I love her books. God Bless you and have a sweet week. It's Holy Week.

  1. I have read all the Stephanie Plum books except the most recent. I really enjoy the characters in those books and since I lived many years in NJ, I recognize many of the places mentioned by Janet Evanovich (who is also a native of NJ). Congrats for winning my drawing. I need to go back and link my readers to your blog where I announced you as the winner...think I'll do that now.

  5. Hope you have had a terrific Sunday- Congratulations on winning Pat's prize of fat quarters. I am sure you will have a great time creating something with them.
I have read a few of the Janet Evanovich books too. Stephanie Plum is quite the character. If you like mysteries, you may want to check out the Earlene Fowler series called the Benni Harper mysteries. It is a great series too.
I am working on a big lap quilt just now so I off to do some more work on it.
Regards from a Western Canadian Quilter.
