My September Let's Book It

As I mentioned in my previous post, I chose this wall quilt, Pumpkin Patch, by Lynette Jensen for a  Let's Book It project for September.  If you don't know about Lets Book It, check it out on Sharon's blog, Vroomans Quilts,  and think about making something we all can ooh and aah over and get inspired by.

My project is from the Thimbleberries book, Quilting for Harvest, and I'm in love with so many projects in this book that I might make all of them.  The book was published in 2006, so I'm only 9 years behind.  Why don't we have 48 hour days?

God Bless You.

This is very cute and a nice little hanging for the new season. I don't think you are that far behind. And I would love a 48 hour day!

Nine years isn't so bad. I have a quilt that needs quilting and I put it together sometime in the '80s.
I do like your pumpkin colours a whole lot more than the book version. Go ahead and make all the quilts in the book. I was going to do it with one of my books - but I chickened out.

Lovely Joanna and just right for autumn. Makes me think of pumpkin soup. I've lots of old quilts books and even if you don't make something from them, they are full of inspiration. Take care.
