Pets On Quilts Show Hosted by SewCalGal - My Entry


This is a cat quilt that I made using Christmas fabric and the cutest vintage cat fabric.   Moxie likes quilts.



She appears to be more particular about the design and structure than her housemate, who likes to create things on which even the cat can sleep or play.

    You've got some lovely pics there, Joanna - and a wonderful quilt!

    I find it VERY DIFFICULT to get a picture of Oliver looking like anything other than a black blob!

    D'you know, the quilt is bigger than I though it was when you first showed it? They are Moxie-sized cats!

    I agree with Hazel, the quilt is much bigger than I thought it was before. Moxie certainly seems to be enjoying it though.

    Moxie is beautiful. Doesn't look like there is a spec of white. Right now I have two pure white cats, but I would always pick black cats. These two choose me. The quilt is wonderful, I love the fabrics you chose. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

    What a gorgeous assistant you have! Moxie, love the name. I remember as a kid (in Mass.) there was a drink called Moxie. I made a large quilt for my brother one year using this pattern, very scrappy. He had it across the back of the couch, whereupon his kitty sat on top of the couch, in the same position, as if to say, "Is this the right position?" He sent me a picture, and it was such fun!

    I really don't know which to look at Moxie or the quilt - they are both so pretty. I like the way you put those little square in a square in the border. It is a very nice detail. Moxie is beautiful. I bet he is just too much fun.
