http://www.quilttimes.blogspot.com/ Sue of Quilt Times is today's host of the Christmas Quilt Along.
12:03 pm I've cut the fabric and sewn two of the strips. The applique needs to be done before I do any other sewing so I'm taking a break, having tea, and will be visiting the other blogs. I'm a little intimidated by the applique so I'll procrastinate;-)
8:16 am I'm ready. Last night I ironed my fabric, and this is what I'll work on today.

It's a pattern and collection for David Textiles that I picked up at Walmart. I love red.
I'll work on the star patterns when I need a change. These are from the February qal.
I'm going to sign in and get started. See you later.
I picked up that pattern...it looks fairly easy. I hope to get started on it when I finish some other projects!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good project to work on today. Fabrics look really pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely. The fabrics look wonderful, I really love the colours.
ReplyDeleteLovely Regency pattern - fabulous fabrics! Looking forward to seeing it 'in action' - and particularly interested in your next two star blocks, of course!
ReplyDeleteMy mother sent me that same pattern from Walmart...I so love it....but I think I would do mine in a different color, only to be different than the pattern....(does that make me bad)?
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely project!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing it coming together,
Shazy x
I'm just in love with the red fabric with the children's silhouettes - wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAnd the applique will be just fine (once you get stuck in!), I'm absolutely sure. :)
It's looking good.
