I'm enjoying Mug Rug Madness organized by Erin of Two More Seconds http://www.twomoreseconds.com/ . I've made two of the patterns given; the Time For Tea and the Cottage Mug Rugs. Here are my versions:
Time For Tea in fabric I love.
The cottage is cute. I might add a little something to it. It's so easy to get carried away.
There are no rules when making mug rugs except maybe for having fun with the design and fabric.
I have completed step 4 of the Easter sal.
All of the designs have a certain charm to them. I'm happy I joined in on this sal.
God Bless You.
D'you know, I had to look up 'mug rug'?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that they are well known in the UK - although they are really cute! I've not seen them before - although my mum has a selection of tiny melamine (sort of coated plastic) supper trays which she uses to hold a cup of tea & a piece of cake - but these are a bit different!
It's given me a fab idea for homemade gifts....
your stitchery is just awesome...love the mug rug!!!
ReplyDeleteYour mug rugs are great. I love them both. The cross stitch is really taking shape and looks good too.
ReplyDeleteYour mug rugs are wonderful. I especially like the little cottage. And your cross stitch is adorable! Who is hosting the SAL?
