I'm making accessories to match my Festive Mystery Quilt. Sharon's angel and Lesley's Christmas Tree napkin both from previous Christmas QAL's. And as soon as I get Lynn's email, I'll be making mittens.
My quilt top is sewn together and it's wonderful to have a quilt top finished, almost. I think I'm adding prairie points to this quilt. I've never made them and like the way they look so I think I'll give them a try. I found this tutorial http://modalissa.blogspot.com/2010/03/prairie-points-and-pillowcase-tutorial.html
If I have enough fabric I will give them a try.
It's lovely.
The quilt looks wonderful, and I think adding prairie points is a brilliant idea. I love the look of your accessories too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt top! I love your colors.
ReplyDeleteOh Joanna, your quilt is gorgeous! Love your arrangement and the fabrics and your idea of prairie points! It's a wow quilt! Good idea to make the accessories, but I'm afraid I wasn't the creator of the napkins...but they were cute, weren't they!
