He's going to be lovable once he's quilted.
I hesitate to show the Nativity because I know the plaid isn't matched. But this is still a work in progress and we'll see how it looks when some borders are added and maybe some applique. I need to make a trip to Joann's Fabrics to see if I can find some red or green that matches. I never seem to have just the right color.
I think I'm going to pick up one of Donna's design walls while I'm shopping. http://www.sosewcrafty.blogspot.com Crawling around the floor isn't the best way to see the best layouts.
Your polar bear is going to be cute. What size is the finished project? Hope you find suitable fabric at Joann's.
ReplyDeleteLove your polar bear!
ReplyDeleteMust look at Donna's design wall solution - on top of crawling around the floor to do layouts, the attic room has a sloping ceiling, so I risk whacking my head when I stand up too!
Doing well with the snowman and does it matter if the plaid doesn't match.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely quilt anyway.
Woops, it's a polar bear, not a snowman. Just me being silly as I'm so stressed. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteNice to know that your polar bear will have eyes soon! I spent the morning on the floor with my quilt borders, but I don't have a wall in the house that is available for a design wall, so poor me will have to continue crawling. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteBear is wonderful as he is and will look even wonderfuler with eyes and pompoms!
ReplyDeleteI love your polar bear. the quilt is charming, I particularly like the plaid.
ReplyDeleteYour polar bear will be just adorable and I wouldn't worry too much about the plaid on your nativity it looks fine and most projects I have seen using plaid it never matches , adds to the charm . I hope to post today .
ReplyDeleteI am a greenaholic and no matter how much green I have, I swear it NEVER matches whatever project I am working on! Love the nativity and the bear!!
