She's done. I didn't see the sloping counter until all was sewn together, so it's staying. Isn't her apron cute?
Thanks to Quiet Play for this sweet design.
My first section of the Caron KAL. Each section of the scarf will be different and you have three choices of stitch to choose from. This is the double seed stitch.
Right side or wrong side?
Wrong side or right side?
I finished the body of my cardigan. Now, the sleeves are interesting. I need to use two circular needles on each sleeve. That should be a good brain exercise. This is a Berroco design.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I'm so happy that autumn begins this week.
God Bless.
Hey, I have slanting counters in my house. I think is is super cute.
ReplyDeleteI think our counters sloped in some houses as a child and in a very old one Keith and I lived in years ago. I do love those blocks. Your cardi is coming along nicely. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSo love Betty's kitchen. I had wallpaper almost just like that in my new home in the 70s until we moved in 2000....Giggle mine had more orange and yellow in the flowers. I guess when I like something it stays forever. Really cute blocks.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are great, and I don't think it matters at all if your worktop slopes a bit - it adds character.
ReplyDeleteI just love your block , that is just too darn cute . Your cardigan is going to be lovely and love the seed stitch for your scarf.
ReplyDeleteI like the block with the lady in the apron. So old-fashioned looking.
ReplyDeleteBack in the 70s, we really did dress to match our kitchens and Betty looks great in her color coordinated outfit.
